If July couldn’t be more of a fantastic time of the year to visit Ambleside, Windermere and the South Lakes, the must visit event of the year takes place on the last Thursday of the month annually. Ambleside Sports being held on Thursday 28 July 2016 on Rydal Park is #theplacetobe for the day for families, sports lovers, traditionalists and simply just for fun and spectating.
